After the underground base was completed, Bo Franklin & crew started on forms for the above ground base.

Two giant legs, 3 sections are stacked together. This reaches to mid thigh on the statue.

This section fits on the two picture at left. It is the chest area and most of the shoulders.

This is actually a pentagon shaped form.

This section will be ten foot tall. Note the 24" culverts they will house 14" pipe that will extend 30' into the statue.
